Do you like photography? How about exploring the beautiful city of Porto during your vacation while learning some photography techniques from professional photographers?

Porto is one of the most photogenic and photography-friendly cities in Europe. Have you thought about exploring it from different angles in a workshop that mixes sightseeing through its streets and attractions full of unique history, geography, and architecture?

Our fun "Secret Glances in Porto" photo tour teaches you basic photography tips, while we visit with you some of the most iconic and Instagrammable sights of this incredible city, voted Europe's Best City Destination and the World's Best City Destination 2022 by the World Travel Awards.

This tour combined with a photography workshop focuses on producing creative images that reflect your own perspective of the city's unique and varied character. You'll discover new ways to tell the story of your travels through great images and receive constant mentoring and feedback from professional photographers.

WHAT TO BRING

- Passion for photography and a good mood

- Equipment: any camera that can be adjusted in terms of aperture, speed and ISO or your smartphone.

- The tour is on foot. We recommend bringing comfortable clothes and shoes and a bottle of water.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

- Mentoring on photography during the tour, with tips on composition and handling gear;

- Two pdf eBooks: containing the tips learned on the tour (and many more!).

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

- Photographic gear.

- Meals and/or drinks, but during the tour you can stop for coffee, ice cream or a snack at any time.

- Insurance of any kind (equipment, health, travel, etc.)

ROUTE

- The starting point will be the Clérigos Tower.

- We will visit the Vitória viewpoint to photograph incredible views of the city's historic center.

- We'll find our way to Porto Cathedral, crossing ancient streets full of points of interest.

- We'll cross over to Vila Nova de Gaia by crossing the Luís I bridge at the top, from where you can get incredible views of the city and the river Douro, including the Jardim do Morro.

- We'll go down to the riverside area of Gaia, from where you'll have a privileged view of Porto's Ribeira pier.

- We'll return to Porto by crossing the same bridge on its lower level.

- Arriving at the riverside area, we'll take photos of the city's bustling tourist area and also take a break to have a coffee and enjoy the fantastic Portuguese pastries.

- Then we'll walk through some of the streets of Ribeira to discover more of the city.

- We'll end the day by returning to the riverside of the Douro to enjoy the facades of the houses in this part of the city and the fantastic sunset light.

Note: This itinerary can be altered for groups of 3 or more people if the client prefers a different route through downtown or wants a specific itinerary on a particular theme: street photography, architectural photography or parks and nature, for example.
